This series of sculptures is inspired by the quite remarkable dome, that adorns the building made by the Spannish architect Crispulo Moro Cabeza (first half of the twentieth century, whose the best known work is the Cine Doré, head of the Spanish Cinematheque.)
The title of this series is partially due to my discovery of Madrid looking up to the roofs in the city, like a pursuit of my fascination for architecture and roofs in particular.
My desire to abstraction, handling forms drives me to make parts reminiscent of sea creatures.
The analogy between architecture and anatomy settles in my approach as a game in which I find endless possibilities.
