WINNER OF THE CONTEMPORARY ART PRIZE CAMPOS CLINICAE - III EDITION

I am proud to present to all of you my project "I shall inhabit my name / J'habiterai mon nom", which won the Contemporary Art Prize Campos Clinicae 2015. It refers to the poem Exil by Saint-John Perse and questions this vast and complexe notion through a sculpture-installation. It takes the form of a narrow path partially rolled up as a thin torn skin on the surface of the landscape, a space of rupture of the continuity, a dotted path. It evokes the belonging to a place and the uprooting, through which the hope for a better future develops on a new favorable terrain.

This new project is part of Campos Clinicae Patron of Contemporary Art's collection.

Jeremy Liron has written a text on my work of sculpture as I develop it since 2012: the architecture as a starting point, with a three-dimensional result in constant metamorphosis. His text manages to identify volumes while keeping the distance that suggests rather than reveal them. He offers us a personal vision of these improbables sculptures in a particularly skillful way.
